ROOF INSPECTIONS
- Determine type of shingles on roof
- Determine layers on roof
- Estimate age of roof & how much potential life is left
- Inspect for storm damage ( wind or hail )
- Inspect for any defective shingles
- Check all pipe penetrations
- Inspect chimney flashing
- Determine if roof has the proper attic ventilation ( improper or lack of proper roof ventilation can cause a roof to deteriorate prematurely )
- Specify type of ventilation roof has ( low profile, ridge vent, power vents, ect.)
- Determine pitch of roof
- Determine if roof was installed with nails or staples
